American Idol Season 11 finalist, Jessica Sanchez, will sing the US national anthem in front of thousand of NBA fans.
Sanchez, top 2 in season 11 of American Idol is set to sing the US national anthem Star-Spangled Banner before the start of Game 1 of NBA finals match between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat in Chesapeake Energy Arena, homecourt of the Thunder.
This was announced by Jessica Sanches herself, in her official Twitter account saying that she is already in the airport, en route to Oklahoma City and with tweets like “So tired lol. In vegas, heading to oklahoma 
” and “Well NBA tomorrow, #idoltour, and working on upcoming album .”
This is the third time for Fil-Mexican Jessica Sanchez to sing the US national anthem in front of a big crowd, after her Americal Idol stint. First in the US Memorial Day concert and most recently in Las Vegas, before the Pacquiao-Bradley bout.
Jessica Sanchez, whose Mom is a Filipino who hails from Bataan, Philippines hopes that her daughter will sing the Philippine national anthem “Lupang Hinirang” soon.
The NBA Finals will start tomorrow (Phil. time) with Oklahoma City Thunder hosting the game 1 of the finals against Miami Heat.
Wish HANSON sang the anthem Game 1 though…They are from Tulsa, Oklahoma…Jessica is a wonderful singer, just wish the very amazing Oklahoma talents Hanson will sing it!
Jessica will just sing in Game 1 of the NBA Finals so hopefully the Hanson will sing in Game 2 or 3.
